Ridiculously tasty, without the nasties.

It all started with a question: why do the gluten and wheat free products we buy have so much sugar in and taste so dry? Any why is that delicious looking cake you just bought so disappointing when you take a bite? 

Confession time : I’ve been baking for over 25 years and I still love cake. So when I was diagnosed with an intolerance to wheat I naturally looked to gluten free options. What a let down!

So that’s when I decided to create puddings and desserts made with care, using quality ingredients, and no refined sugar. Not just the promise of great taste, but care for the environment too… SLAB bakery was born.

Winning  Great Taste awards twice over, and the regular, fabulous feedback we get from customers, means we’re confident that our puddings and cakes meet our high standards, and your cake fix.

We recycle production waste, our packaging is recyclable (that’s why we use foils). We only use free range eggs, and don’t use palm oil. We truly believe the alternatives are worth it. 

Our puddings and cakes are made and hand finished with love. You can order on-line, and what’s better than having pudding delivered straight to your door!
